The briefand the solution

Test a genre that rarely exists on Roblox

Roblox is built around 3D worlds, while 2D farming tycoons remain a largely unexplored niche. We set out to build a complete game in the genre and find out whether it could earn an audience without a paid acquisition budget.

A custom 2D engine running on a 3D platform

We created a dedicated engine for 2D gameplay inside Roblox, then layered in multiplayer and a long-term progression system. The experience grows from a player's first harvest into a productive farm with animals, processing chains and an economy designed for repeat play.

What playersexperience

01

Custom 2D Engine

Purpose-built physics, rendering and controls create a genuine 2D game inside Roblox without relying on pre-existing genre templates.

02

Multiplayer Farms

Players can see and visit one another's farms, adding discovery and a social layer without paid promotion.

03

Long-Term Progression

Progression stretches from the first crop to a fully developed farm, giving players reasons to return over multiple weeks.

04

Production Chains

Crops and resources from cows, pigs and chickens can be processed, sold and reinvested into expanding the farm.

The game found its audience through organic discovery, without paid promotion.
